Meditation Sittings

Open to all looking to practice meditation, especially beginners.

This class is free to the public, but donations to Southland Aikido are most welcome.

Sessions begin at noon on these Saturdays and will run about 45-50 minutes. Please arrive 10 minutes early to get situated.

The goal is to be still.

Basic instruction in Zazen will be provided to those who ask for it, but participants may meditate in other traditions as they would like. There will be a limited number of zafus available. Chairs will be available to those who opt to meditate in this manner. Please wear loose, comfortable clothing.
